Postimage

Anyone else having problems with Postimage?
Uploading photos gets to 4/6% then returns an error code '0'
Tried to contact them but no reply?
I can view previously uploaded photos but not add any new material.

I think it may be the mass exodus of hosting from Photobucket to PostImage.

Maybe their servers are struggling to cope with demand / traffic.

I did have a few issues a few weeks ago, but I put it down to poor internet within my own home.

Uploading by mobile phone seemed easier and more reliable, but then my mobile only lets me upload one image at a time.

I have nothing new to upload at the moment, but will indeed keep an eye on the situation.

It will be a pain if PostImages goes belly-up for some reason, as I have now modified nigh on 100 threads with 500+ images after the photobucket fiasco.

Just uploaded this random photo from my travels last week.
Mobile upload was fine.. took about 8 seconds all in.

Strange! I only ever load no more than 3 and mostly one at a time but have had this for a while now (couple of weeks) and I have only ever upload from my phone which is normally pretty quick.
Just tried again, got to 14% dropped to zero, got to 8% then come back with the code '0'
Might have to look elsewhere!?

This was the same issue that I had due to very slow / poor wifi in my home.
Turned out that my router was too far from the master socket, and the pins in the master socket were corroded (copper oxide verdi-gris).

I don't recall any issues since sorting my phone cables, vdsl socket and router.

Not sure if there's an upload limit but if I resize images first they seem to go?
Not had any other internet problems, not got a fast connection, always about 5 Mbit.

I don't think there's anything to worry about.
I get error codes and break of service occasionally and I only use my win 10 pc for uploads.
My phone's for calls, text and occasional searches for my dad ( I mean on his behalf-not that I've got a tracker on him & he gets lost a lot)
My connection is hard-wired and up to 200 Mb/s , so It's definitely the site that has issues at a particular time

Agreed -
I am sure that I have said this already.

Probably due to the huge rise in service users, since everyone left fotobucket.

Probably just their servers creaking under the strain of the large volume of traffic.
