The return of The X-Files

Post by humbucker »

Did anyone see the X-Files reboot on C5 last night? I was never really into the show back in the day, but I thought I'd give its new outing a go. It was pretty good.

Ye, I missed the first couple of episodes, saw one last night, didn't really get into it though, I think the original series were quite good, must say also, I preferred Gillian Anderson with her red hair from before, not a fan of blonde myself.

No, not as far as I know, think a couple have already been shown. What I am annoyed about is I missed last Sunday's Deuschland 83, and channel 4 on demand is about as useful as a snail in a drag race. Tried searching for repeats on the tv, and happened to catch X Files.

Wrong night for me
Monday night viewing is currently:

Universally Challenged (which I managed to miss last night)
Hawaii Five-0
Gotham
Tracy Ullman's Show (which appears to have finished) - her Judi Dench, Maggie Smith and Angela Merkel impressions are spot-on

and which are pretty much back to back

I enjoyed the original run of X-Files but Mulder's continual failure to conclusively expose the fact that they were 'out there' got a bit wearing

It was ok you can predict what is going to happen next I've got it on series link but Monday night is my TV night and the wife knows to keep quiet when my programs are on. My night is on Monday Fast And Loud then Bitchin' Rides then Street Outlaws. And if I push my luck bit of Air Crash Investigation :thumb
