Pee-Wee's Big Holiday

Post by humbucker »

I doubt that it will be as good as 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure' (few films are!), but I'm looking forward to seeing 'Pee-Wee's Big Holiday' on March 18th! Yay Netflix!

Is that supposed to be like Mr. Bean's holiday?

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Pee-Wee pre-dates Bean. The first (and best) Pee-Wee film, 'Pee-Wee's Big Adventure', was directed by Tim Burton in 1985. Imagine adults pretending to be kids while having fun doing kid stuff like riding bikes and drinking milkshakes and you're half way there. Now imagine how upset you would be as a kid if someone stole your bicycle.

That's basically the premise of the first Pee-Wee film. It is brilliant.
