the steering rack mounts in a completely different place, so it wouldnt be a easy job, but as people have prooven in the past, anything is possible its whether the job is worth the money and time to be done
Re: mk4 astra struts
Or you could save ya money an buy a set of coil overs made for a cav they are available yes they're expensive but they are out there

Re: mk4 astra struts
i have looked for coilys but f**k me there expensive i wonder if i can get custom lowering springs that are lower than 60s cos that is all i can find for a cav.
Re: mk4 astra struts
Just bear in mind if you go lower than -60 you will more than likely start having problems that will keep happening and keep costing you money like breaking drive shafts track rod ends possibly even wishbones not just that I reckon the ride will be pretty harsh to fella

Re: mk4 astra struts
why would you want to go lower than 60?? mine is 60 and i have to be carefull if i open my door near i high kerb
not to mention speed bumps are a right pain in the a***

Re: mk4 astra struts
I've dropped mine 40mm on mk3 astra springs and that is low enough with speed bumps about i wouldn't go much lower as the wishbones are sitting flat and i always use that as a guide for the limits to stop things breaking like driveshafts and track rod ends etc

oh dear lol that will be why the corsa b ones didnt work i think i will be buying cav 60s mine is currently sitting permantly on the bump stops i think because it really is bouncy i will put a picture up on the other post with the damage that was done by fitting corsa 60s
