Hi guys
Im removing the ABS on my Sri, now i have a few questions about this. When i bought the car it had brake lines already removed so not sure how they go back on.
1. Will the rear brakes have the pressure cylinder things on the underside of the car or will they be on the master cylinder? (i dont have the non ABS master cylinder yet, hence why i ask this)
2. Does the rear brake lines have a single line with a T piece of to both rear hubs? or is it 2 individual lines, one to each hub?
Thanks in advance!!

Re: Brake line question
you have 2 lines to the abs then 4 off the abs, they split left front right rear etc, there are no bias valves that i know about if you want a front rear split then you T piece.
Re: Brake line question
So what happens when im remove my ABS? Is that when i have a T piece? Instead of the 2 lines going to ABS, im guessing its 1 wire to the front with a T piece deviding the right & left, and a single line to the rear with another T piece deviding the left & right again?

Re: Brake line question
Split diagonally, it's safer and generally more stable in the event of a failure.

Why not just use a non ABS master cylinder which has 4 connections?th0m45 wrote:So what happens when im remove my ABS? Is that when i have a T piece? My SRi has rear compensators/bias valves - they're at the end of the steel brake lines, near the rear axle just before the connection to the flexy hose. I guess yours will be similar...

^ I can't remember exactly, but I think he's right. Pressure reducers on the rear lines at the back end.
