Maxton suspension kits

Post by decgsi90 »

Just wondering if anyone on here tried the maxton suspension kits?
Consists of four shortened gas shocks and 40 or 60mm springs for about £150 which seems very cheap.
Would be going for the 40mm version on a 1.7td vectra a with sri fanblades. Dont have tyres fitted yet but was thinking 195/55/15.
Dont want to lose all comfort as roads im travelling wouldnt be the best and dont want too stiff of a ride.
Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

Apparently they aint too bad, know one or two on here have fitted them in the past...For a budget set up they do what they say on the box kinda thing...

I have G-max set up on mine and wouldn't recommend it, so hard its unreal..
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Crap, the back shocks died in a few months and the front springs kept dropping and the backs stayed the same so it looked like a dragster.

Had both sets the 40mm and 60mm kits and cant fault them for the price.

Thanks for the advice, still a bit unsure if I should chance them or go for eibach springs for now and upgrade the shocks to blisteins later on when the funds are there.
