Brake pipe fittings - sizing help required.

Post by Lowrider Dave »

After battling with the rear pipework I be replacing the pipe and, of course, the appropriate connectors - is there a standard size or fitment for Cavaliers?
There seems to be a mix of UNF and Metric size/male and female options. Is there an easy answer to this or do I have to shlep round auto factors to hunt out the right ones?

Take the old ones with you and match them up. Chances are it is all metric, but you can't be sure.

3/16th pipe and th fittings I am sure I used standard motor factor 10mm fittings. They threaded fine.

Pipe is standard as Gary says, and the chances are that he is bang on with the fittings, but you never know who has done what in the past.
