Hey all,
Looking into replacing my shocks for some Bilstein items and lowering about -40mm, whats the best option B6 or B8's??
Also has anyone seen any places doing these as a full set with springs?

Re: Bilstein
Best to shop about, see if places will do a deal of your buying a full set of springs and dampers. Try demon tweeks, etc. See which dampers are recommended for your car, prob B6.

Cheers Dave, best I have found works out about £400 so far without springs!!
Just been down to the local mods garage (Mike Stokes) and he has quoted me on Apex shocks and springs but unsure as read they are pretty budget and don't last too long or give much of a ride either..
Got to do some thinking, may just slap Gmax dampers on it to match the springs and see if that improves things but at the moment its far to bouncy and hard..

Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....

Apexi, meh. Look for a good set of Koni adjustables and Eibach springs. Win.

Re: Bilstein
Having used GMAX previously, they are good all round to be honest once you learn to handle the understeer.
That said - I have a set of Bilstein B8's to slap on the cav along with 30mm Eibach springs (when I finally get it back on the road).
So, hopefully that is a nice combo.
