Front calliper sliders

Post by paul_34 »

Does anyone know what other Vauxhalls use the slider pins for the front callipers? 7mm hex I think they are? Some Astras will but what about Vectras?

Snapped one of mine this afternoon, not a good day at all  Vauxhall want £21 for one!! I want to see if I can get one from a scrappy and I'm wondering if they are all the same length? Any help appreciated :thumb

Looks like this set up is fitted to a wide range of makes and models of cars and there only £12 on ebay for two pins, the rubbers, caps and grease. I'll see what I can find in the scrap yards tomorrow first.

Panic over, had two off a Corsa then found a Cav right at the back so I've got a handful of spares for £4 :thumb

There are only one or two yards you can still walk around here now. Old tip of mine is just carry some change in your pocket pull it out and give the owner the down and out look. Chances are he'll just say give us that then and be on your way :thumb
