Anybody know what type of signal these give.
I will be running vectra c IRS so using all the Hubs from that. Both the cav and vectra use 2 pin magnetic sensors and wondering if my system will run with it.
Not sure if vec c uses canbus honestly don't know.
My knowledge of this Can be written on a match stick lol

Re: Abs rear magnetic sensor.
Early vectra C won't be full canbus, later ones will.
I imagine the sensors will work fine so long as they will plug in ok.

Similar, not necessarily the same. Think about the number of teeth on the pickup and how it creates problems when you fit the wrong ring on the front.
"No the temperature gauge doesn't work........
we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"

Re: Abs rear magnetic sensor.
I was under the impression the magnetic sensor has only one tooth and gives a square wave signal like that of an optical sensor. I'll put a scope on both.

Measure it, it's possible it's only got one trigger point.

On the flip side, Robsey is very good when it comes to Canbus, he can probably tell you what you need to know.
