Handbrake cable
Hi I have a 94 Sri hatch needing a new handbrake cable for the mot all I have seen is for the drivers side. Is that all I need ?
Re: Handbrake cable
On drum brakes there are two cables.
A long one that goes from the hand-brake to the rear drivers side drum, via a peculiar tubular "equaliser" bracket on the rear beam.
There is a shorter one that goes from the tubular equaliser bracket in the middle of the rear beam to the passenger side rear drum.
I presume being an SRi, then you would have discs. I expect you will still have two cables similar to how I have described above.
