Silicone based brake fluid or Blue brake fluid

Post by dave's.veccy »

Has anyone used either of the above??

Ive done a couple of track days in a couple of cars ive owned and i can say brake fade is scary. I feel my brakes are ok on this Veccy for what they are but as i feel the fluid is due a change, i was thinking of getting one of the above.

I know its pricy but its drain & fill once and then forget sort of stuff

any advice is great :D

id be just using 5.1 and changing it before you track it, either that or get bigger brakes for more surface area to dissipate the heat.

cool

Are V6 brakes any different to 2lt Auto brakes

Im thinking of getting or making the police spec wishbone scoops to help with cooling too

I forgot you had the vec now, so ive edited my other post.

I can sort you out with 335mm 6 pot porsche setup but you'd need a lie down if i told you the price
