Hi all,
Looking to refresh all the calipers on my 2.5 V6 cav. Does anyone know part numbers for fronts and backs?
I can find ones on eBay either refurbed or new. So far i have found refurbed fronts and new rears..
FRONTS:

REARS:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BRAKE-CALIPE ... 1438.l2649
AND

Also i assume these fit ABS models ..
Has anyone done this recently and can help me please..
Thanks again.
2.5 V6 Caliper part numbers
Re: 2.5 V6 Caliper part numbers
The front callipers for your chassis number are as follows:-
Calliper Assembly, Front Disc, Right Hand, C20LET and C25XE
= 90 443 868
Calliper Assembly, Front Disc, Left Hand, C20LET and C25XE
= 90 443 867
The Rear callipers for your chassis number are as follows:-
Calliper Assembly, Rear Disc, Right Hand, all 2.0 and 2.5
= 90 297 533 (not 4WD)
Calliper Assembly, Rear Disc, Left Hand, all 2.0 and 2.5
= 90 297 534 (not 4WD).
As for the ABS sensor / signal, this is built into the hub flanges,
so it would not be affected by any calliper swapping.
The Cavalier brakes are very arsey about air in the brake lines, so the best / most reliable method of bleeding the fluid is by using a pressure bleeder method. (Using air pressure from a tyre set at about 20 psi).

Re: 2.5 V6 Caliper part numbers
As for the part numbers that they quote for the fronts...
I have no idea where they got their numbers from.
They are definitely not OE part numbers.
Vauxhall part numbers start 90 ### ###
And Opel part numbers start 5 42 ###
751 and 752 ??
Nothing in my listings.

Re: 2.5 V6 Caliper part numbers
i think the 751 and 752 is actually printed on the caliper itself and not a part number.. well going by the picture anyway.
Re: 2.5 V6 Caliper part numbers
I came to that conclusion too, but I could not work out why they made such a song and dance about it in their listing blurb.GP123 wrote:i think the 751 and 752 is actually printed on the caliper itself and not a part number.. well going by the picture anyway.
I haven't looked at my callipers for years.
I never particularly noticed anything stamped on them... probably too full of filth and brake dust.
