Rear brake hose removal and replacement on V6

Post by Enthusiast »

Is there a trick or procedure for the removal of the rear brake flexible hoses?
I have removed the lower clip how would I proceed from there?

The two rear brake hoses connect between the metal brake pipes on the car body and the metal brake pipes that run along the rear axle beam to the brake calipers on each side. I think they can be removed by undoing the unions at each end of them. I'm not clear what the lower clip is that you have removed. There are clips that hold the metal brake pipes to the body and to the rear axle beam but you don't need to remove these to release the hoses.

Isn't there like a large flat square circlip, pull that off then the pipe should pull out the bracket??
Good chance it's all rusted into one big blob.
