Hey guys, ive just put a set of FondMetal 16'' 5 Spoke Alloys on my 94 Cav 2.0l 8v Saloon, ive had them all balanced but im still getting alot of vibration mainly from the front end, ive been told that they may require spigot rings as there is a gap around each wheel on the hubs but if not could it be suspension joints or tracking etc? Ive just had to get a new top suspension mount (rubber donut) as the old one is making a creaking noise.. could this too be a reason for the wheels to vibrate??
cheers

Re: Wheel Vibrations
either the wheels arnt balanced properly (where did you get them done?) or the fronts are buckled/flat spotted, or even possibly if they have used tyres they are knackered. if it wasnt doing it before you put the wheels on then its only going to be wheel related.
edit--could possibly need some spigot rings (noe i read it through properly!), get some and try it.

Theres a fine line between stupid and visionary. You just have to be a visionary to see it.
