I want to upgrade my suspension...

Post by ceri »

.. but i only want to subtly upgrade it..

I've come to the conclusion that i would like to lower it.. but only a little, i don't want boneshaker suspension (i had that in my old coupe) handled just great, but impossible to deal with on our shitty pot holed roads..

so whats your recommendations?

all my shocks are SHOT at the moment (front and rear) so now is the ideal time to do it!

whats your thoughts?

:)

I've also been looking into a subtle lowering, and the best deal I found was a set of Spax springs for £100. Apparently they're a good make and not too harsh a ride... as soon as I can get some money together that what I'll be buying!

Avo chassis dynamics... used on my mk2 astra and the Cav V6 and is, to me, perfect.

My dad has a bad back and he seems quite comfy in the cav, rough roads and smooth. My girlfriend also suffers bad back issues and she has stated it's no boneshaker.

But me, well I like to drive and I like to have a car that handles well and predictably and the Chassis Dynamics do that very well too...

all the kits say mk II but check the years displayed... worth the money they charge in my opinion.

I am running Gmax shocks and springs at the moment and to me its a perfect upgrade, the rideis comfortable and the handling is great, its a cheap upgrade aswell with kits fetching around £180 these days.
