passenger suspension problem!!!

hi every1.i was out in my car yesterday and sterring felt funny,i lifted bonnet and noticed my passenger side sitting a 1cm higher and not flush like the driver side.....when i jack car up it goes to where it shouldbe it was.i have checked a min ago and the nuts are tight and no lose parts......any ideas???

im using standard shocks with 40mm gmax springs?? help any1.

The only way to check the top mount properly is to dismantle it. It's possible that the top bearing has given in, but it's not unusual to see a difference one side to the other depending on how the car is sitting. Define 'funny'?

its probably the top mount has cracked (or the bearing)and distorted

cheers gsi pie for picture and help. i have looked and checked as when i take top plates of the passenger one is sitting higher ten driver side and the only thing i have it down to now is the bearing mount,cheers lads.....

i managed to swap them over and was not broken but was pushed up where the bearing sits in middle.i went to local motor factors and brought top strut mount and bearing costing me £33.78 fitted and took for test run.problem solved
