Ok - there is nothing around so Ive gave it a bash!!! Please add as all this is off the top of my head! think ive covered it all:
- disconnect battery
- remove steering wheel - 2 torq screws behind airbag and 22mm centre bolt once airbag removed.
- remove plastics around steering column - 3 screws on underside and 2 screws on front facing side.
- remove plastics around speedo clocks
- remove speedo clocks, careful to unclip any electrics as you pull out.
- remove head light switch unit, unclipping electrics as you pull out
- remove sterio
- remove glovebox by exposing und unscrewing screws behind plastic surround above glovebox and screws on bottom corners of glovebox.
- remove heater grills on centre of dash above heating controls
- now that you can see in via glove box, sterio, heater locations - remove heating controls but unclip 3 metal cables in blue casing from their hinge points ( you will see what i mean when you look). Then unclip electrics as you pull the controls out.
- remove ash tray, cigarrete lighter unit
- unscrew screws holding centre console to dash (either side in passanger and driver foot well's)
- unscrew and remove fuse box panel (under dash right hand side), push fuse box inside dash so's not to catch it when pullling dash out later.
- now that all fixtures are out the way, locate any cable ties securing wiring to dash ...all the way along the inside of the dash....snap these or untie wwhere you can.
- look in where glovebox was, you will see an electrical box to the left and one on cieling of dash, unbolt and allow these to rest on floor for now (or wherever they fall!)
- remove 5 dash bolts. one in centre of dash under windscreen under plastic cover, 2 under speakers in top corners of dash, one on bottom right of the dash near the bonnet lever, one at bottom left on opposite side of the car.
...should now pull out - lift up and out with a shoogle here and a shoogle there.....
- refitting is a reverse of the above!!!
