How2 - Install Cavalier Headlamp Protectors

The document reads;
1) Open bonnet and clean headlights thoroughly with methylated spirits or a similar glass cleaner. Attach plastic clips to lower section of passenger side headlight cover. Ensure lower section of clip faces same direction as top tag of headlight cover.
2) Insert installation card* directly between headlight glass and rubber seal on bottom of headlight assembly. Locate the top tag section of the headlight cover over the top of the headlight assembly.
3) Apply downward pressure onto the face of the headlight cover until the plastic clips locate between the installation card and headlight glass. Remove installation card.
4) TO REMOVE: Release bottom seciton of headlight cover from under headlight glass. Lift top section of headlight cover over headligth assembly and lift headlight cover away.
Note: Retain installation card and these instructions for future use.
Once fitted do not slam bonnet. Clean headlight covers with a mild detergent and water solution. Do not use abrasive cleaners on the headlight covers.
* The installation card is a thin piece of card covered in plastic that comes with the OE items for fitting. You could fashion one yourself out of any regular card that has a glossy finish. Something like a greetings card would be ideal.
