Steve Hucker's Cavalier 4x4 8-valve 'BTCC rep' in Retro Cars
The October 2015 (issue no. 88) edition of Retro Cars magazine includes a feature about Steve Hucker's Mk3 Cavalier 8-valve 4x4 BTCC tribute, 'built on a budget'.
"Die-hard Vauxhall fan, Steve 'Gromitt' Hucker, fastidiously collected parts from six cars destined for the scrap heap, building them into this incredible BTCC replica race car on an exceedingly tight budget."
The mag is out now in all good newsagents. The digital version has yet to materialise on Pocketmags. I will post a link to the download as soon as it becomes available.

Actually, it was this badboy that tipped me over the edge - the last ever RML-built BTCC Mk3 Cavalier, and the test car used by John Cleland and co during the Cavalier's famous 1995 BTCC winning season.
I'll be spending some quality time with the car during the coming week or two. Expect a magazine feature to follow!
