Re: Which Oil?
Bit late in the day to add my comments and I am certainly no oil expert so I respect the opinions of others.
Having asked around including the manufacturer's own techie dept I finally opted at the last annual oil change for the Fuchs 5w-40 ester fully synth "Pro S" If memory serves me correct. Not the cheapest @ just south of £50 for 5L eBay/Opie but I reckoned that if I really wanted to give my rebuilt overhauled etc motor the best start in life then £3.85 a month was worth it. Means that I'm sitting on unused tubs of the GM 10w-40 from a year ago though.
May / may not be worth it for other motors with lower compression and standard cams I was told.
