You don't want ten them believe me. I have one thats bad enough he's nearly two .He nows watch the simpsons

Just re-read what you said ,the use of full spots do help. Labs love to chew every thing watch you shoes ,wooden furniture anything left on the floor.
But all said and done I will not get any other breed of dog.

Re: Dogs
Watch this space in 18 months - my daughter says she's going to get me an Old English puppy for my 50th birthday. Had two before, both rescue, both middle aged when I got them - looking forward to a cute little furball

Re: Dogs
Well, I can never pass up the opportunity to mention my muttlys.
We have three now, as we lost our largest and mosr popular dog earlier in the month.
She features in my avatar and signature.
I won't go miserable on you, however she spent her last moments in the back seat of my Cavalier.
Then there is Big Sam, our Leonburger Cross, sat in the front passenger seat of my Cavalier driving through Hyde, on his way to his grandmother's.
Now then - not a dog, but this is Cool Cav Teddy, in the back seat of the Cavalier - what the armrest was made for.
next post shows our other two dogs in Christmas / Winter mode.

Re: Dogs
By far the naughtiest, is Tilly...
She's a cross Rhodesian Ridgeback, although this picture doesn't show it well... it shows more of whatever she was crossed with.
And finally the youngest - Phoebe.
A heinz 57 - no idea what type muttley.
Sat on the wife's friend's knee on a cold winters morning.
All the dogs are / were rescue dogs and are great with other animals and children.

Nothing worse than losing a pet, its just as hard as losing a person.Robsey wrote:Well, I can never pass up the opportunity to mention my muttlys.

Re: Dogs
Oooo. A thread about dogs I missed!
Here's one of my Border Collie, Boo. She used to be a sheepdog, but wasn't very good at it, so is now a pet. 7 years old.

Re: Dogs
Finn is a rescue dog whereas the others we have had from 7-8 weeks. He is roughly 6 months and appears to have him a tough time with a man. He is fine with my family and the dogs but shit scared of me. I'm just ignoring him, except for feeding, and waiting for him to make his own mind up and he is coming around slowly. When I enter the house after a period away from it the others always go potty with excitement which he really wants to join in with but can't quite pluck up enough courage yet. He was quite happy licking my feet sticking out of the bed this morning though!
