Cat Lovers Apply Within

Post by carlos_canter »

Sorry to put this on here, and if it is neccessary, then please delete.

In febuary a bengal cat turned up at our house and has since stayed!
He trys to play with our other cat but is a little rough with her so a few fights have broken out, also with a baby on the way, we fear he may attack the baby has he does have a tendancy to play rough but does have a very affectionate side to him, he is also a little shy of noises but does appear to have good road sense.

Approx 2 years old, male, neutered and no chip or collar, quite vocal in very good health with an even healthier appetite!

Have had him checked by a vet and have advertised on lost pet databases and so far nothing. Some of these cats can fetch £200 + and to not have him chipped or notice him missing is unbelievable!

We have named him "dave"

Im about to start my week of nights so getting on here can be difficult but will try and check as often as I can.

Im in West Houghton in Bolton, can help with transporting locally if need be and want him to go to a loving home, perhaps you are looking for a cat or know some one who is, please message me.

Many thanks for any help.

I guess that's why they always run away from me, they can detect that I don't do cats?!

Tried all the sites and even registered him on a few sites, no joy! I couldnt bear putting him in a sanctuary, they dont look that appealing to me, so god knows what the cats think. I know its a bad train of thought because there a charity and cant be a 5 star hotel.

I know exactly what you mean about cats choosing their owners and your spot on!

I'll ask the wife. I guess she'll say no, as we already have a white cat, and a cavalier (king charles spaniel), and poppy the cat is quite visious to the poor dog

Dave has now been rehomed.

Had a phone call from a chap named Jim in Chorley this afternoon, and he came to see him, he has had Bengals before and is well used to there temprements and traits. After visiting Jim's home Dave was free to roam and made him self comfortable VERY quickly!

Still broke my heart though, but there will be no more fights and Dave will have as much attention as Jim can give him.

Thanks to every one who offered to help!
