Re: The value of a biscuit
Might I enquire as to where the Jaffa Cake fits into this leaderboard of biscuity goodness? Or if it even registers.
As for the worst biscuit ever... the one that my mother used to force feed me as a child... Fig Rolls.
Are the above cakes, or biscuits... who knows.. I consider them biscuits though.
For the record, I cant stand HobNobs, chocolate or otherwise. If I'm going to dunk something it'll be a Party Ring, cos I like it when the icing goes all funny when its dunked.

You CANNOT and SHOULD NEVER consider a jaffa cake as a biscuit.
There sponge(like cakes) and not biscuit like at all.
ITS NOT NATURAL!

I dont think air travel was a world changing revolution, It did in some respects, belching out exhaust across the globe, deafening noise and the mess when they crash!Cavalier342 wrote:Sad that I know about aircraft, the revolution that changed the world, don't think so. You're sad talking about biscuits.
Least if a biscuit crashes you get the hoover out.
How can we be sad talking about biscuits, Youve just literally reviewed a jammy dodger.

As nice as they are, they are definitely a cake, not a biscuit.Freakmandu wrote:Might I enquire as to where the Jaffa Cake fits into this leaderboard of biscuity goodness? Or if it even registers.

Important subject, clearly close to all our hearts judging by the response the thread has received.carlos_canter wrote: How can we be sad talking about biscuits

Re: The value of a biscuit
Clearly a jaffa cake is a biscuit as you will find them with the biscuits in EVERY shop.
And someone mention part rings, there are really nice!

Due to the well known stupidity of shop assistants, shops are rarely laid out in a logical manner are they? There is a clue in the name Dan, Jaffa CAKESTurboDan wrote:Clearly a jaffa cake is a biscuit as you will find them with the biscuits in EVERY shop.

Re: The value of a biscuit
They are cakes that's why they are vat exempt in the uk, Mcvities have defended this in court and showed that Jaffa cakes went hard once stale as cakes do and biscuits go soft when stale.

It ain't the shop assistants you pleb, it's the store head office that decides where to put stuff. We have to fill it on the shelves, even though we know it's wrong

Re: The value of a biscuit
Course you do. Otherwise jaffa cakes would be with the cakes and not with biscuits.
