DK Photography - Brooklands New year Gathering

Post by Lowrider Dave »

Went to Brooklands Museum today for the New Year's Day Gathering - where if your car is over 30 years old/classic you can display. Apart from some modern crap: Audi R8, BMW i8, new Jaguars and men with expensive Italian cars and small penises - the rest of the gathering turned up some really wonderful models ranging from the immaculate to the shonky everyday drivers.

So if you want to see minis, Metro, Maxi, Escort, Allegro, Imps, E-type and the odd custom car and Yank, you can pop over to my Flickr album with 90 photos of the finest.

Nice photos Dave, I love the American motors, was that brown rusty-looking Ford sedan a Fairlane by any chance? Love the Mustangs too, and the 50's Chevys.

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...

Yes it was Ian. 1,500 cars and a claimed 7,000 people turned up. It was quite full when I got there, just as well the site is large.

Yes Andrei, I think it was a Fairlane. A fair bit of Yank motors there and a number of customs. Quite a few mustangs and the usual Dodge Charger/Challenger.
