fitting mudflaps
i'm goin to get a set of new mudflaps for the cav and they come with a set of self tapping screws, im just not sure how to fit them? where do they screw into on car/flaps? any advice from anyone who has already done this would be welcome. thanks in advance.
Re: fitting mudflaps
drilling flaps into the car is a bad idea, they will just let in water to the pannel gaps and it will rust out in time
There are clamp type mounts that are a lot easier on the bodywork id get some of those

It depends in an ideal world about 3/4 a side.
They tend to be heavy and any less you manage to pull them out if you hit anything plus it stops all the weight being on one clip
