headliner help

Hi boys and girls lol

Has anyone re trimmed there headlining? and a pillars can I see some pictures?

Was it hard , what did you use etc?

Not seen a retrim... But have heard of a vectra one being used... and someone on a fellow cav site painted theirs... :S

How come I didn't see your Cav at PVS!?!?
Was slightly gutted!!! lol

Mines been done in all alcantara by myself , although its soon being done in leather

You doing the leather trim yourself dave? I was thinking leather but was unsure how easy it would be to get to fit tight and not bag. Also I cant sew and would want it to look factory with double stitched edges etc.


Not done many show's since PVS2012, hayward691. car was just not up to standard. It's in body shop at moment so will be hopefully doing few show's after that, but still bits that are niggling me.

Hi mate , I did the alcantara myself but I'd say its only about 80% the leather will be done by the trimmers as its to hard to do with heavy leather

Dave you should retrim another set, and sell your trimed ones on, I'd love to do mine.

I have a black retrimmed headlining in Turbo #2 but I didn't do it myself. Pic can be seen here (ish). I'll be colour coding the plastics to match:
