Just purchased and got delivered a set of Heko wind deflectors for the Cav and the only issue is the instructions are vague, me and my father are having an argument about how they fit so....
Do you have to removed / pull out window seal or do they sit on the inside of the window runner as tried this and window security kept lowering the window as a safety feature thing??
Sure its simple but tbg the guide on here and the instructions are not very clear...Or I am just being thick
Free Parking is a bonus, leaving my Cav in a carbon dust filled carpark is not.....
I agree that they're not to everyone's taste but they are actually practical.... Say you're cruising along at a steady pace, and wish to drop the windows down a bit and it's chucking it down outside.. Invaluable in that situation...

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...
Drop the window a bit and it flies off smashing across the front of the car behind you
"No the temperature gauge doesn't work........
we've driven 150 miles today........
the heater went cold last Thursday........
they check the level when it's serviced don't they?"
Never had an issue with any falling off, in addition to the clips I sometimes put a thin bead of silicone along the edge just to give them a little more 'hold' but the clips are usually enough.

Cheers
And some people may not like them but they suit my car, plus I won't have water from washing the windows or rain blowing in the window when on the motorway...Go figure huh

I got a set of these, great things for when its raining like tonight.
how they fit is they go into the rubber where your window glass sits. mine came with metal clips that you push up into the groves too and they hold the deflectors tight. 2 each side. I got a set of 4 off the missis for Christmas but I only use the front 2. I don't smoke in the cav but people in the back thought it was a good idea to use them for that purpose so they went and so did the rear deflectors
the windows do play about for a day or two. just edge the windows up carefully pushing the deflectors out towards the rubber till the windows are fully closed and leave them up for a day and then ull be fine
