Mk3 astra mirrors

Hi guys quick question here whilst browsing the far reaches of the internet I came across a japanese spec vectra a which looks standard however the mirrors which are fitted look a lot like phase 2 astra mk3 items

could anyone shed any light on this, I did think it could just be the lighting in the photo but the main part seems to sit higher up than the standard cav one which is roughly flush with the scraper mouldings etc

also note huuuuge side repeaters wheras we have small ones and europe dont have any

It just dodnent look right with those mirrors

Ive never seen them on a cav before now. I agree with haribo they look wrong, prefer normal cav mirrors

I actually like those mirrors. Saab style almost. Think they suit the car very well. Won't say the same about the side repeaters though

I guess I would have to see them in person but I do quite like them on the astras, I totally agree about the side repeaters though
