Does anyone know if u can still buy new Vauxhall and Cavalier badges? Just been to my local dealer to ask and he looked at me like I had five heads!

How many heads have you got? :D

As far as I know, when cars go out of production and into that '25 years of spares' malarky, it's trim that normally dries up first.

Give autovaux a try I suppose or ask geezer behind the desk to extend his enquiries to Europe.

Badges are getting quite hard to find now. It's a very common problem for the letters to loose their silver shine and turn black. Ones in decent condition tend to command quite high prices even on the second hand market. Just keep looking on eBay and in scrap yards, nice ones do turn up occasionally. Do make sure you get the right ones however as they are different for facelift and pre-facelift.

Have you tried OPELISE on E-bay they specialize in sorts of car badges.

I bought most of the nls stock a couple of years back. Sold the last of em (with the exception of a set of badges for my own car) to a member on here last week.

Could try some of the German sites. They do seem to have a fair bit of vauxhall branded items.

There will be some floating about. It's just a matter of tracking them down!

I resprayed mine with chrome paint from an art shop, then picked out the black with enamel paint, they look fine, if a wee bit glossy!
