Paint Codes - 90/91 white

I have just looked at the sticky on this which confirms that my Glacier White 10 L as per metal nameplate is also referred to as "474".

The aerosol can I have just purchased from the Vx distributor does indeed state 474 [17 71 474] on the side of the can but then confuses the issue by having a sticker on the lid of the can stating "Saturday White Fever Artic White". I seem to remember the Mk 2 Cav I had many years ago was Artic White and it wasn't the same as Glacier.

The distributor is trying to resolve the apparent contradiction. Can anyone shed any light on it?

Yea that was my first point of call that confirmed that 10L = 474= Glacier White. What's confusing me is the reference to Artic White / Saturday White Fever on the lid. Can I ignore the latter?

Saturday White Fever is a new Vauxhall ADAM colour. What are you referring to as "Vx distributor"? Is it a genuine GM paint can?

Vx distributor = Bristol Street Motors Newcastle = North East Vauxhall Main Dealer. Can states "Genuine GM" and has ref Glacier White 17 71 474 in addition to Casablancaweiß 474 ... 1 # 90295934 GR.8.769. They could hardly make it more complicated. That said if it wasn't for the label on the cap I wouldn't have had any doubts.

It doesn't help that the same colour has been known by different names over the years. I'm sure it's fine to use.

Casablanca is the same colour as glacier white. Opel call it casablanca vauxhall call it glacier white
