Wet carpets

Post by nealg »

Hi all, Both drivers and passengers side front carpets are soaking wet. I`ve blown out the sunroof drains with an airline. I`m pretty sure its not the door seals and cant see any problems underneath. Its only wet right in the bottom though, any ideas?

Usually down to a perished seal under the wipers as above. Theres a thread in the How2 section about this particular problem too :)

9 times out of 10 it's the 'elephant trunk' blocked. This is about midway along the bulhead about 6" down from the wiper scuttle panel. It fills with crap, and water backs up through the heater.
