Arch liner extension

Post by Mk3alan »

Shortly after I acquired my Cavalier I thought that the wheel arch liners could be bigger and with that in mind I extended the existing items left and right.
They were cut from some antistatic workbench covering (convenient at the time as we were using it at work!) although 3mm sheet rubber could be used as I have done on my Astra.
Fixed where ever convenient I find it keeps a lot of muck from entering the engine/gearbox area.
Getting a bit split now but still doing the job.

Aside from easier access and inspection of the mechanical components, I really don't understand why there was a massive gap there in the first place. Good job.

Am I a light sleeper or a heavy sleeper? Well that depends on how much I've had to drink...
