Hatch to saloon rear seats and headlining

Post by cavalier1990 »

Hi

Anyone know if the back seats and the headlining from a hatch are the same as saloon? The seats look identical and I'm thinking most of it should be the same up to the top of the roof/back door effectively. Anyone confirm?

Thanks

Hatch headline is a little shorter in length then the saloon cars...

The back seats are pretty much the same. For the gsi 4x4 turbo the front bases is a little different to compensate for the transfer box / propshaft

Looking at part numbers,

The roof lining is not specific to saloonor hatch, so should be interchangable.

Seat wise - the differentiation is 4WD or not.
Although as said above, GSi should be different due to the profile of the independent rear suspension floor pan.

I fitted a head lining to my saloon & had to cut it down at the rear by about 2” so I presume it came out of a hatch but other than that it fitted perfectly.
