slam panel

bit of a sanity check as i dont have mister haynes to hand, but on the mk3 cavalier is the slam panel bolt-on or is it spot-welded on?

welded unless its been smashed off i wouldn't be replacing it as its a sod to get it sitting perfect as it effects all the front end even if its slightly off.

Spot Welded on,I have recently have changed it on my calibra hovever you have to be very very careful...All front end could look terrible when done poorly.....You do have 4 point punto welds.
