Has anybody got any suggestions as to how I can replace/renew/fix the telescopic dampers on the hatch. I have an exceptional condition '92 Sri. One thing mars it though, the dampers on the hatch have lost their damping ability with the result that I have to prop it open with a bit of wood! I have no idea where to even start looking for a solution. Would someone out there care to give me some advice on this. Thanks in advance from this Newbie

First port of call would be to look about and see if anyone is breaking a car with good dampers. I'm not sure if the Vectra B items will fit, pretty sure the MK3 Astra items are shorter though.

However, you could try somewhere like Autovaux or Vauxhall Spare Parts.

I'm going to get a pair from this site after next payday. There are Vectra B ones on there as well.
