Roof carrier system
Has anyone had roof carrier system on their cav (front and back bars) I orderd some NOS ones but I don't really get how I'm supposed to install them. Not sure if there are supposed to be some screws mounted inside the 4 holes on the car ?

Open the doors and in approximately the middle of the door frame pull the rubber seal down a little bit and you should expose a threaded insert fixed to the car. The roof bars have a fixture built in to them, lift the lever with the Vauxhall emblem on & the little threaded stud should drop down, locate that in the hole and pull the lever back down & that should hold it in place. Once you shut the door you should not be able to lift it again.

Ok thank you, I thought it that way but I was not sure that would hold it in place. Just wanted to make sure no screws are needed.
