Crankcase to EMU wiring

Post by Rupsey »

Hello,
Sorry if this is not the way to do this but I have a problem with the connector between the crank case sensor and the EMU.

The connector has snapped so had to tiewrap it together but need new cables. I have looked on line but cannot find a supplier.
Does anyone know who I can get the two cables from or if you have a scrap one

It is for a 1993 Mk 3 cavalier LSi. I also need a driver side rear light cluster.

Any ideas?

Regards,

The rear light clusters are still readily available from ebay or panel suppliers like Carz2 in Malvern.
But there are three styles - Early GSi type, later rear rear cluster with the black trim across the top.
And the much later tinted cluster with black trim.

Being an LSi, I am guessing that the engine is a 1.8 single point injection. - C18NZ.

Are you after the crank-angle connector on the back of the camshaft case cover?
I am sure that you can still get the connectors and plugs new as the Bosch crank angle sensor plug is a very commonly used item.

I am assuming that it is the loom plug, not the crank angle sensor plug that is broken.
