cav v6 ecu light

ecu light keeps coming on and going off again in my cav v6, doesnt always come on and doesnt drive any different but flashed codes out (with engine off) and got the following

12 sequence start
61 Fuel tank vent low voltage
31 No engine rpm signal crankshaft sensor

now the 31 crank sensor is because the engine wasnt running im guessing but what about the fuel tank vent thing? any ideas on wether it could be this putting the light on everynow and agian?
what could be wrong with it?

low signal indicates voltage or more likely a broke unit, id just swap one off a scrap car, think the vectra one is the same

cheers pal, will get one sorted, is it the valve on side of engine? small blakc one with 2 pipes and a plug going to it?

yea thats the one, if you follow the pipe it should lead to the carbon canister in the wing

i thought it was that one mate. can they be bought new do you think from a motor factors or just vaux? dont think theres any v6's in my local scrappy

its just a valve id suspect you could get one off any late 90's onwards vauxhall

I bet you wouldn't get one from an autofactors, but like anything its worth a ago

will try tommorow i have a trade account with motoquip so will give them a ring and see if they can get me anything. if not il'l put a wanted up on a few vaux forums
