I have never tried, but I guess there would be no reason you couldn't use a petrol one. Just delete the pump?

Petrol one will do I used one just take pump out as said above and petrol tank is the better of the 2 aswell cause it has an access cover were the diesel one doesn't ,I carnt understand why they made two different ones to be honest
