Cav V6 coolant sensor

Hi everyone I'm in need of a new coolant sensor for my V6 , it's not the sensor that attached to the header cap I've spoken to someone who says he has one for sale but it's attached to actual header tank is this correct?

There isn't a coolant sensor in the cap of a V6. It is attached to the bottom of the tank. You can't remove it, you need to buy a new tank. This is the coolant LEVEL sensor. If you need a coolant TEMPERATURE sensor, then this is the part attached to the coolant bridge at the right hand side of the engine (in between the heads as you look down).
