Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
I would of thought a hydraulic hose supplier could make you up one of those. With the right ends I could swage one up over here no problem.
Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
Thank you . I have still question how to fit other side od hose that is just rubber compressed together with metal line hose that lead to the tank .

Hi
Have you checked here for part number, not sure what engine you have there are loads, part probably should be avaialbe somewhere, I can still get new bits for my 94 cavy. Let us know your engine code or engine size.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
Hi it's 1.6 16V year 2003 Z16XE engine. Is it possible that is fix from other Vauxhall
Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
That part number looks correct - item1.
Vauxhall No = 13 141 126
Opel No = 58 20 413
It also looks like your photo.
A search online shows possible items in Germany.

Thank you very much for that info
Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
In the parts catalogue image, it is part number 1.
It just happens that Cavalier1990 managed to guess the correct engine type.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
There are a few parts that can leak in that "circle", the connection, the metal pipe, the crimp, the hose....

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
I think that I understand what you are saying Dave,
You mean -
1 - does it need a whole new pipe?
2 - could it simply be loose at a join?
3 - could it be sorted by re-crimping the original crimps?
In these modern times, it is just "the norm" to replace a complete part, rather than look to see if it could be repaired.

Yes, but if the part is no longer available, then you need to get a bit more creative and look at fixing it or making it better.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
the previous owner was repairing this pipe himself. He cut the pipe in between and somehow connected it back with a metal interface but it’s pretty badly done.

Here is picture where he cut it and put ducktape .

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
You could probably remake that connection and fix it.
How far does that pipe run? it may run all the way to the rear of the car in one piece if stock.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
this tube is partly rubber from the connection and is then a compressed connection that does not go apart which goes to the aluminum pipe forward under the body to the tank.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
The flexible pipe on the left of the picture looks newer, so I'd guess that, because it didn't have the crimped-on union required, the previous owner just cut the old pipe and grafted the stub of it and its original union onto the new pipe (but by the looks of it badly!). As said previously you should be able to join the old and new pipes using a suitable piece of copper or steel tubing of an outside diameter that fits the internal diameter of the flexible pipes and a couple of jubilee (worm drive) clips to hold it in place.

Or if possible, something like this: https://www.advancedfluidsolutions.co.u ... 1169-p.asp
The serrated edges stop the pipe slipping as they bite into the hose when clamped.

Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
You could do what they do on Cavalier fuel lines, and flare the ends.
(Brake pipe style).

Another idea from Opel GT 1900
Re: Vectra C Front Fuel Feed Pipe leak
Flaring steel pipes is tough to do on the average flaring tool.
