In Tank Pump to Tank Hose Part Number?

Post by himselfunknown »

Hi all! The short rubber hose that goes from the pump to the tank (the removable part) has split and I'mhaving trouble replacing it. I've tried using a straight piece of pipe but this causes the pump to sit at the wrong angle (the original hose is slightly 'S' shaped).
Does anybody know the part number of this hose, or have they replaced it themselves, if so what with?
Thanks in advance!

From your description, it sounds like the pump to suction pipe. 90 412 223.

It looks like no longer available, but I am sure there may be something similar about.

I know it is only a short piece, but could you make up an S shaped piece of 8mm outer diameter micro-bore plumbers pipe and use the 7.3mm bore (internal diameter) rubber hose to join at the top and bottom.
It would be a bit like making up a bit of brake line.
Just a thought...

There's one here by the looks of it, not sure if they ship to UK though:
