got a 1995 cavlier 1.6 8v where the crank sensor on it

i got a fault code for the crank sensor but where is it located

try it with the engine running you may get that fault if you dont have the engine running.

but its on the front of the block on the opposite side to the dipstick, its the only sensor on that area of the block

you might get incorrect RPM signal fault code if the engine isnt running too, that's nothing to worry about

im having problems which makes me thinks it the cranks sensor its the C16NZ engine the car will jerk sometimes lack power using fuel but i will try that with thenegine running then see if it gives another code

give it a service and fit a new temp sensor (the blue one) and go from there.

is it doing it when its cold but ok when it warms up?
