Biodiesel

Post by Bull »

Hi,
Has anyone run a 1.7TD (Isuzu) engine on the biodiesel fuel that seeds to be springing up everywhere? I am considering using it but don't know the pitfalls and wondering if anyone has gone through these?

I think older engines tend to not make a fuss when being run on other fuels, unlike new engines, particulary with cooking oil. Biodiesel should be fine, just keep an eye on the seals and fuel hoses, to make sure it doesnt do anything funny to them. It shouldnt, but its a good idea to check just in case :)
