Does anyone know if Diesels have Lombard sensors in the exhaust? i was talking to a anothr cav owner and they mentioned having to change it bt have been unable to find it on my 94 1.7TD Cav

lambda, its the o2 sensor, it should have one you should find it somewhere between the start of the exhaust where it leaves the head and before the cat.

Your TD wont have one. The injection system is all machanical on that diesel engine.

Cheers Greig Sri, That'll explain why i can find it on the petrol bt couldnt on my TD,
Was wondering do i need an Isuzu diesel manual or does the Vauxhall one cover it as well?

You need this book 'Vauxhall/ Opel Diesel Engine Haynes Manual 1982-1996' ,as seen on this ebay ad.
