Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
This was great. Was in the park having a stroll and this guy goes hammering by driving like an absolute twonk in his crap DIY matt black Mk2 Escort. The guy is well known for driving like a tit, a million miles an hour in a thirty, you know the sort. Anyway he goes flying round the roundabout, everyone assembled 'tuts' as they see him and then he sorta bounces along accompanied by 'bang bang bang'. We all look over and his exhaust has fallen off, the axle appears to have broken and the wheel fell off. He continued to try and drive it anyway. Everyone watching were in hysterics, rough justice and all that. Right outside the police station too hahaha! A sea of cameraphones appeared accompanied by outbursts of laughter!
He was going that fast that when we heard the noise we thought he musta crashed into the railings. Pics show the car on the exit of the roundabout.

Pictures of Barrys crashing their cars in a comedy fashion are perfectly acceptable, ideally accompanied by photos of the components of their cars strewn across the road.Deeksin wrote:lol like the comment above!!!!

Love the low bus how does that even get anywhere what with all the speed bumps/pot holes about! Unless its on airbags.
Ka pickup is unusual
Love the plate on the Porsche

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
That looks an ace petrol station i bet its entertaining to work there
Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Yes the bus was on air. It had titanium blocks mounted on the rear chassis so it would throw sparks out the back in low-mode
Its quite fun working there. Its only 10-15 miles from snetterton race track so we get lots of cool bikes and cars through. Theres also 2 USAF airbases within 10 miles so we get huge yank-tanks too.

The silver one has a bit of an Ultima look about it. Sure I've seen something like that before, perhaps an ex boyfriend wanted one or something... seems vaguely familiar anyway.

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
Spotted in town about five minutes ago. You can see from the paving on the road that most of these cars spotted in the High Street, more or less, and it's a very small town. Most odd. Like I said before, it's a time warp for motoring in these parts!

Re: Stuff we've seen on the road
More joy from town this week:
Mk2 Astra Estate Merit!
And this thing. Apparently it is called a Can-Am and is a sorta reverse layout trike. I was speaking to the owner about it but I really wasn't sure what to make of it. Unsurprisingly it gets all sorts of attention when he goes out and about:
