Hello

Post by DaveP »

New to this site, so thought id say hello.
Ive been in the vauxhall scene for many years and have owned many, unfortunately the longest serving SRI of 12 years has just come to the end of its life and being broken many parts will be used on the others. Here is a list of the mk 3 collection :-

94 M 2.0 ecotec sri hatch in diamond black currenly being stripped and awaiting disposal :(

93 K Turbo in glacier while running about 280bhp but only 2wd atm, has had pretty much everything replaced over the past 6 years, was just a redtop when we aquired it.

94 L V6 hatch in satin red, brought last year with cambelt roller failure, been repaired in my spare time and just got running.

and now for the latest edition

94 L Turbo again running a redtop, I aquired this in december, travelled all the way to scotland for it. My plan is to make it 4wd again and restore it back to its former glory, inc a large amout of engine mods.

The black 1 is a bit of a shed lol its solid though. ill need to strip it down and underseal it after ive had some plates welded on the sills etc, ive got replacement doors for it and my mate will give her a fresh coat hopefully ready for PVS :)

The while 1 is almost ready, its a couple of different shades of white but hey ho, would really like to get it running 4wd but i cant weld and i need a rear mount made for the prop :(

here is a pic of under the bonnet from a few months ago, it had an uprated actuator on now

Image

I will do a build thread as i have pics from over the years

Thanks for all your nice welcomes

one is never enough, its always been like that one nova was never enough lol

id ideally like them both to be locked 4wd, the black 1 won't be a problem as everything is just bolt-on.

the white 1 had had the rear propshaft mount forcefully removed to make way for that hideous side exit exhaust and in unfortunately i can weld :(

Cheers, have left message there. I was going to come and get the door cards with the rear beam, but looks like Mike will collect the beam himself. I may be able to come down and help depends on the date.
