Preliminary meeting point: M27 services - Rownhams Westbound at 09.00, leaving at 09.10.

Thats a bugger of a meeting point Dave, alright for those travelling from the east but otherwise its difficult to turn back on yourself on the M27 without going down as far as Eastleigh I beleive or going onto M3 and turning round.

MEETING POINT

Okay, have been looking at the map and have reassessed meeting location. I believe this to straight forwards meeting spot regardless of which direction you come from.

Familiar to some: Sir John Barleycorn Pub, Southampton Rd, SO40 2NP

DIRECTIONS
Head towards the M27 Westbound and turn off at Junction 1, sign posted 'The New Forest' and 'Lyndhurst'. At the bottom of the off sliproad take the first left onto the A31 (signposted 'Cadnam', 'Totton' and 'Lyndhurst', then in a few hundred yards turn off to your left onto a smaller road with houses. Turn left again and the pub should be visible a few hundred yards at the end of the road. I will hand out tickets (to those that have booked them) there.

Look it up on googlemaps: 50.921155,-1.586754

09.00 for a 09.10 departure.

The route taken will avoid Lyndhurst as this is a bottleneck, especially at a weekend and doubly so when there is an event at Beaulieu. We will try to run in convoy where possible.

Anyone who cannot make 09.00 I can post your tickets instead let me have your address via PM and I'll post it out.

I suspect a few of us will be there before 9am, we need to all turn up at Beaulieu at once to sort out our stand as all car clubs need to turn up together.
