Very nice, I was expecting more technical information about the powerplants in real life applications though, but watching how meticulously they were designed and built is also fascinating. I didn't know they actually fitted them to the Astras, I thought that was a purely boy-racer's conversion job.

Probably on the VXRs..

Although I only see boggo standard hatchbacks and GTCs when I drive past the Ellesmere Port / Eastham plant every Tuesday.

The classic V6s weren't fitted to Astras. Cavaliers, Calibras, Omegas, Signums and Vectra Bs all got variations of the 54deg engine, but the V6 in the Vectra C VXR is a complete different unit (2.8-litre turbo).
